Tangi McCoy Chief Executive Officer for McGregor PACE, MPA

Tangi McCoy, a licensed nursing home administrator, began her health care journey in 1985. Since then, she has worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. In 2008, Tangi joined McGregor as the chief operating officer for their 235-bed facilities including skilled nursing, assisted living, HUD housing and independent living.

Tangi has a Master’s of Public Administration in Health Care and is married with a teenage daughter. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Dr. Peter DeGolia, MD, CMD, UHCMC Medical Director for McGregor PACEDr. DeGolia is a former PACE phy
sician and a family physician/geriatrician at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Recently, he was appointed director of the Center for Geriatric Medicine and the medical director of the UH/Case House Calls Program.Dr. DeGolia earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, completed his internship at University Hospital and his residency and geriatric fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center, both in Cleveland, Ohio.He is board certified in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine.

His areas of interest include education, house call medicine, long-term care, and end-of-life care.

Rick Jenkins, M.Ed., M.B.A., Director Business Development, Marketing and IntakeRick began his health care career as business manager, Huron Road Foundation. While there he opened three urgent care centers. Rick became chief operating officer for United American Health Care and organized Personal Physician Care, an HMO. In 1994, Rick became chief operating officer of Total Health Care, an HMO, expanding their service area statewide. Rick is married and has two adult children and three grandchildren. He and his wife, Sheila, are caregivers for Rick’s Father.

Rachele Kelly, CTRS, MHA
PACE Center Manager
Rachele was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a trained recreational therapist specializing in dementia, and is also a Reiki master and trainer. Rachele worked as an assistant nursing home administrator at Legacy Health Services prior to joining McGregor PACE.As one of the primary care providers for her sister who needs 24-hour medical care, Rachele feels a real connection with families and understands their desire to keep their loved ones at home.“I enjoy giving our participants something to look forward to everyday and getting them back home to spend quality time with their family.”

April Gideon
Eligibility Specialist
April is a lifelong Cleveland resident. She is a paralegal and will be graduating from Tiffin University in May 2011 with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. In the future she hopes to pursue her Master’s in Health Administration . April has been with PACE for eight years and feels like she has done it all having worked as a STNA, PTA and customer service representative. April has been married for 10 years and has four children. In her spare time, she watches movies and spends time with her children.“I enjoy working with the elderly and helping them stay at home. I like to think of PACE as a ‘one stop shop’ for everything you may need.”

Lore Smith
Intake/Marketing Coordinator
Lore moved to Cleveland 35 years ago from Asheville, North Carolina. She has worked for PACE the last four years in support positions for the CEO, medical staff and human resources.

When Lore is not working, she likes to read and spend time with her three children.

“I love working with seniors. They have such great stories and a lot of wisdom to share.”
